Bertjan Pot’s best-known works are probably the Random Light (1999) and the Masks he makes out of colorful rope. Both the Random light and Masks started as material research, which is basically the starting point of each work created by Bertjan Pot.

This Saturday, December 3rd Bertjan Pot officially launches his new book ‘Ropemasks (and Gloves)’ published by Art Paper Editions at the gallery. To celebrate his book we will sell 9 editions of his work ‘rope mask print in painted frame with thumbtacks #1’. Step by the gallery for the festive opening and a drink!

Launch Lara Verheijden ‘Der Berliner Nacktkalender ’23

Including Posters

The first Amsterdam Nude Calendar that photographer Lara Verheijden and stylist Mark Stadman together made in 2018 has long been sold out. The Calendars she photographed every year since then, sold in editions of up to two thousand, have become collector’s items. They are something different than classic nude calendars: no babes in tiny bikinis on motorcycles, but diverse people in everyday situations, naked or half naked, together or alone, in various places in the middle of the city. The project now is expanding every year.

This Saturday, December 10th Lara brings her Berliner Nackt Kalender 2023 to the gallery. Next to this we show a special offer of exclusively printed posters chosen from photos of the Calendar.

Saturday, 17 December

Launch MONOGRAM #2 Liv Liberg

Including New Special Editions

Liv Liberg is best known for her work SISTER SISTER. Her photography journey started at a young age, taking pictures of her younger sister. With her work, she explores the idea of being a woman, through clothes and character play, which she developed growing up in the Dutch countryside. Through a combination of staged posing, dressing up and portraiture, Liv looks for moments of both complex emotion and playfulness in her subjects.

This time the gallery shows her work ‘The Girl’. A project she made for her childhood friend.

Saturday, December 17th Liv shows her work ‘The Girl’ published by MONOGRAM imprint of Art Paper Editions, photographs she made of her childhood friend. Come and see for yourself at the gallery!
