Opening: Thu, 19 January (5-7pm)
Prinsengracht 615 H, Amsterdam
Next Thursday (January 19) we will open our latest exhibition ‘Hans Eijkelboom and Imruh Asha’. You might know photographer Eijkelboom from his iconic images, that he secretly takes from humans on the street. His never changing concept – exhibited in MoMa and Stedelijk Museum amongst others, is recognized worldwide and an inspiration to many.
For his first -styled – photoshoot, the renowned photographer collaborated with the young and talented stylist Imruh Asha. Together they portrayed the current menswear style in an editorial for Fantastic Man. As these works deserve various platforms, we bring it now to the gallery context.
In this exhibition Van Krimpen shows 12 poster-size prints, in Eijkelboom’s signature style, demonstrating a cross-section of our society. Established collectors, young collectors and/or the public that is not even collecting yet, can purchase the prints (edition of 25) for 125 euro at Madé van Krimpen Gallery – online and in the gallery. Order here!
Feel more than welcome to attend the vernissage from 5-7PM on January 19. Hans Eijkelboom will be present to sign the prints.
