León Krempel (1966) is an art historian with a specialization in Dutch baroque art. He curated more than 50 exhibitions mainly in the field of contemporary art, e.g. Marlene Dumas, Rosilene Ludovico, Stan Douglas and John Gerrard. He has been director of the Kunsthalle Darmstadt since 2014. León Krempel is curating and organizing a solo exhibition of Robert Zandvliet’s work in 2026.
