28 Portals | Geert Goiris
Desolated landscapes, meteorological phenomena, ruines of Utopian architecture. And dryly photographed minerals to subdued and enigmatic images of his children. At first glance, the world Geert Goiris creates in his photographs seems very diverse. Photography, traditionally a medium that records the past, transforms in Goiris’s hands into a medium that seems to depict the future.

Closing event: My Garden’s Boundaries Are the Horizon | Performative reading by To See the Inability to See
De Appel warmly invites you on March 22 between 18:00 and 19:30 for this final reading during the show, where the collective will unfold the book one last time. As the three-month exhibition comes to a close, we will engage in one more reading of the book, exploring aspects of the narrative that have been overlooked or not fully explored. During the event, the audience will take part in an unscripted reading, selecting and reading fragments from the text that resonate with them, further developing the potentiality of free improvisation and performing a score.

My Garden’s Boundaries Are the Horizon
The exhibition My Garden's Boundaries Are the Horizon by the collective To See the Inability to See unfolds as a dynamic constellation of objects, artworks, and performances. At its core is a sculptural book exploring the boundaries between writing, reading, and collectivity, inspired by Iranian architecture and contemporary protests.
