Internal Encounters

Enari Gallery is pleased to host an artist(s) panel talk with Raffael Bader and Thomas Mau as a postlude to the opening Internal Encounters. The artists both explore strong narratives surrounding storytelling, abstraction, and figuration. Their oeuvre can be summarized as a dialogue between the isolation and beauty mirrored in the landscape of an artist’s life. Depicted through colorful hues, intricate mark-making, and bold subject matter – the two create a harrowing and intimate viewing experience. We will explore the artists’ practices and processes and discuss their experience of exhibiting for the first time in Amsterdam.

The artists’ talk will take place on June 3 from 16:00 – 17:00. The show will run from 2 June – 8 July 2023.
