About the Performances
CABARET OF AN INTRUDER
On Friday September 2 between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, Serbian artist Branko Milisković will perform Cabaret of an Intruder, in which the artist pushes the idea of a cabaret to the next level. Originally an informal form of theatre, performed in a pub or restaurant, with unconventional content, however in Milisković’s show, the artist breaks the fourth wall and forces his audience into often uncomfortable situations, singing directly to them, beckoning for them to approach him and crowd around him, imploring them to come closer than most audiences ever would.
SVESKE OURØ | YELLING FROM BRIDGES
Yelling from bridges is a performance from spring 2022 evolving from a research into Urban public space and performativity. It is about the unspoken laws that we obey in public, about how we as humans are domesticated into these spaces and so are not allowed to express many primal emotions in the public sphere

PEDRO KASTELIJNS | CONSTRUÇÃO
Construção originated from a song Kastelijns wrote with the same name for his upcoming album. The lyrics are his personal and artistic motto, as well for the works of his graduation project. It relates in a poetic way to where the artist is from and to the beliefs and inspirations towards the way he works and lives life.

BRANKO MILISKOVIC | THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THEM
The entire world is in turmoil and we are living in uncertain and treacherous times. Mass medias are competing in spreading fear and disastrous news, thriving on that, and causing global chaos and confusion. On top of all the pandemics and epidemics, a war between Russia and Ukraine escalated, causing a chain reaction with some other political conflicts on stand by, bringing the entire world in never ending state of alert. In order to establish peace, total destruction is sometimes the only option left.
