    As part of a new initiative at the gallery, we organize the first gallery breakfast run. Before opening hours we will host a 30 minute slow pace run (5.30/6.00 min/km). The run will start at the Bloemstraat 140, we will do a small lap moving towards the north of the city and come back in the gallery. There coffee, orange juice, fruit and croissants will await us, as well as a possibility to see the exhibitions by Tenant of Culture and Magali Reus. To participate, please register here.

    Opening Foam 3h | Finn Maätita and Jerrold Saija Tones of the Ecotone

    Foam 3h presents Tones of the Ecotone, a collaborative exhibition by Finn Maätita and Jerrold Saija, curated by guest curator Zippora Elders Tahalele. The exhibition will be opened on Thurday 20 March between 17:30 and 21:00. The exhibition offers an immersive, playful and pluriform audiovisual landscape. Combining ancient wisdom, photography, assemblage, and media technologies, they express the relationship and overlap between humans, nature and ancestral knowledge.

    Closing event: My Garden’s Boundaries Are the Horizon | Performative reading by To See the Inability to See

    De Appel warmly invites you on March 22 between 18:00 and 19:30 for this final reading during the show, where the collective will unfold the book one last time. As the three-month exhibition comes to a close, we will engage in one more reading of the book, exploring aspects of the narrative that have been overlooked or not fully explored. During the event, the audience will take part in an unscripted reading, selecting and reading fragments from the text that resonate with them, further developing the potentiality of free improvisation and performing a score.

    ON DEMAND | Hamza Halloubi

    tegenboschvanvreden is happy to announce a special intermezzo in their programming! In the fall of 2025, Hamza Halloubi (1982, Tangier, Morocco) will have a solo presentation at the De Pont museum in Tilburg. To festively highlight his work, Hamza has put together a special ON DEMAND program with five of his video works, during the weekend of March 22 and 23: Nature Morte (2014), Un après midi à Larache(2015-2016), Walking and Talking (2018-2019), Messing Encounters (2020-2021) and Bégaiements (2020-2021)
