After a series of successful performances during Amsterdam Art Week 2024, ICK Dans Amsterdam and Nxt Museum will revive the live dance performance ‘Breath in a Physical Resolution’ on 28 August. This performance, which engages in dialogue with the exhibition ‘Life in a Different Resolution’ by Random International, curated by Bogomir Doringer, will take place at Nxt Museum.
The six dancers of the ICK ensemble return to Nxt Museum under the choreography of Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten. Within the large-scale, immersive artworks of the exhibition, they dance among pieces that respond to their movements, weaving through the audience. The audience is invited to experience the intriguing interplay between the human body and algorithmic technology, offering a reflection on the relationship between our bodies, breathing, and the digital world we inhabit today.
