Ruben Raven & Joeri Woudstra are multidisciplinary artists who observe – and create a commentary on – the ways in which humans, objects and material contexts interact in relational exchange. These pieces offer a reflection on how our behaviours, perceptions and (conscious, subconscious, unconscious) emotional responses fabricate personal and intrinsic value judgements. This is contrasted by pointing out our material contexts, responding to aspects of capitalism and ideas of regeneration, to challenge and question our creative capacity within continually changing wider, social contexts.
