Bertjan Pot’s best-known works are probably the Random Light (1999) and the Masks he makes from colorful rope. Both the Random light and the Masks started as material research, which is actually the starting point of every work Bertjan Pot makes.

Saturday 3 December Bertjan Pot will officially launch his new book ‘Ropemasks (and Gloves)’ published by Art Paper Editions. To celebrate his book we are selling 9 editions of his work ‘rope mask print in painted frame with thumbtacks #1’. Stop by the gallery for the festive opening and drinks!

Saturday 10 December

Launch Lara Verheijden ‘Der Berliner Nacktkalender ’23

Including posters

The first Amsterdam Naked Calendar created by photographer Lara Verheijden together with stylist Mark Stadman in 2018 has long been sold out. The calendars she has photographed each year since then, sold in editions of up to two thousand, have become collector’s items. They are something different from classic nude calendars: no babes in tiny bikinis on motorcycles, but various people in everyday situations, naked or semi-nude, together or alone, in different spots in the middle of the city. The project is now expanding every year.

Saturday 10 December, Lara will bring her Berliner Nackt Calendar 2023 to the gallery. We are also showing a special offer of exclusively printed posters chosen from photos from the Calendar.

Saturday, 17 December

15:00 – 19:00

Launching MONOGRAM #2 Liv Liberg

Including new special editions

Liv Liberg is best known for her work SISTER SISTER. Her photographic journey began at a young age by photographing her younger sister. Her work explores the idea of being a woman, through clothing and character play, that she developed while growing up in the Dutch countryside. Through a combination of staged posing, dressing up and portraiture, Liv seeks moments of both complex emotion and playfulness in her subjects.

This time the gallery is showing her work “The Girl”. A project she created for her childhood friend.

Saturday 17 December, Liv will show her work ‘The Girl’ published by MONOGRAM imprint of Art Paper Editions, photographs she took of her childhood friend. Come see for yourself in the gallery!
