    Garlands is an art exhibition, with works by Jason Hendrik Hansma, and marks a finishing of a years-long process of Jason and Marwan working through four moments of presentations. All throughout exploring rhythms of exhibition making for our form as a collective artist-run project space.

    Marwan’s 2024 program is supported by Mondriaan Fund and Amsterdam Fund for the Arts, & we would be unable to do what we currently do without AKINCI gallery and our community.

    Guided Tour | The Anarchist Citizenship: People Made of Stories

    On 19 January 2025 at 14:00, Framer Framed invites you to join a free tour of the exhibition The Anarchist Citizenship: People Made of Stories. The exhibition explores how storytelling, visual culture, architecture and the social structures in Somaliland, the Somali region and the diaspora shape citizenship. The project was initiated by Amal Alhaag and Nadine Stijns, in collaboration with Mustafa Saeed and several other artists, thinkers, architects and activists from Somaliland/Somalia and the diaspora. The tour will provide insight into the project's theme and zoom in on the works and stories that shaped it and will be provided by curators Amal Alhaag and Nadine Stijns.

This achievement embodies Faria’s dedication to her artistic craft and her remarkable ability to capture the subtle yet profound stories within her work.
