How art comes about.
The extraordinary collaborative process of Jonas Ohlsson and Maartje Jaquet. An interactive performance, with music and you get to draw along, you become part of an artwork and perhaps part of the exhibition.
Maartje Jaquet and Jonas Ohlsson show in a live performance how they work together for the project 1and1is1. With alternating music for atmosphere, they draw and paint on each other’s work. One makes a beginning, the other works on it and then gives it back. Thus, the artwork keeps changing its creator until the artists decide together that it is finished. Next to them, additional workspace has been created for two people who feel like joining. This way one can not only see what it is like to work together in this way, but also experience it.
