    In this exhibition, Eye presents the work of three recent winners of the Eye Art & Film Prize: Meriem Bennani (2019), Kahlil Joseph (2020) and the Karrabing Film Collective (2021). The prize is awarded to makers who bring together art and film in an innovative, inspiring and highly artistic way.

    What is notable about the work of the three winning artists is their committed engagement with the world and the way they effortlessly cross the boundaries between cinema, documentary and visual art.

    Exploring the Fields | Jacquie Maria Wessels

    Galerie Fontana is pleased to present Jacquie Maria Wessels' first solo exhibition at the gallery, titled Exploring the Fields. The premiere of Dubious Appeal will be shown alongside earlier works by the artist from her series Garage Stills, Fringe Nature, and Memory Master. Diverse in their thematic foundations, Jacquie Maria Wessels' analogue photography is both poetic and sinister. The official opening will take place on 2 November from 16:00 to 18:00, during which Jacquie Maria Wessels will be present.

    It is a feast to be an Amsterdammer, a feast to celebrate! On the occasion of the captial's 750th anniversary, Arti et Amicitiae is hosting the exhibition Amsterdam built on photographs, where images from the capital over the past fifty years, from 1975 to 2025, can be seen. The exhibition offers a great flashback of these years through the eyes of 20 photographers and artists who see Amsterdam as a part of themselves.
