The collective strength of all participating institutions is harnessed tonight on the Noordside of Amsterdam. Expect a clustering of artistic momentum and festive dancing. The full programme is yet to be revealed.
De Appel warmly invites you on March 22 between 18:00 and 19:30 for this final reading during the show, where the collective will unfold the book one last time. As the three-month exhibition comes to a close, we will engage in one more reading of the book, exploring aspects of the narrative that have been overlooked or not fully explored. During the event, the audience will take part in an unscripted reading, selecting and reading fragments from the text that resonate with them, further developing the potentiality of free improvisation and performing a score.

In the fall of 2025, Hamza Halloubi (1982, Tangier, Morocco) will have a solo presentation at the De Pont museum in Tilburg. To festively highlight his work, Hamza has put together a special ON DEMAND program with five of his video works, during the weekend of March 22 and 23: Nature Morte (2014), Un après midi à Larache(2015-2016), Walking and Talking (2018-2019), Messing Encounters (2020-2021) and Bégaiements (2020-2021)

Josilda da Conceição is pleased to present ‘Moderate tear, refurbished to be heard’, a duo exhibition where recent works by Johann Arens and Nadim Choufi are brought together. Both artists share a commitment to a poetic rendition of everyday materials that reinserts autonomy and agency. They each find tenderness in found language – ranging from furnishing and signages to lines of poetry – which they press, laminate, and rearrange to not only distill their meaning but also to remind us that redefining these artifacts, whether from public space or spoken language, is integral to our right to participate in shaping our neighborhoods, our collective ideologies, and the societal and spatial structures that underpin our ways of living.
