Galerie Bart presents P (Parking) by Kevin Bauer from 13th September to 30th November 2024. The official opening will take place on Friday, 13th September from 5pm to 9pm.
We are delighted to present the installation P (Parking) by Kevin Bauer in our garden. This work is a continuation of his earlier installation showcased during the KunstenLandschap art route earlier this year. The idea of a car stuck in the earth prompts us to reflect on the ever-changing world. What do we leave behind? How will our current everyday objects, once out of use, become part of future generations or ecosystems in the distant future? Even the car – a symbol of technological progress, independence, and mobility – is stripped of its function.
The work invites viewers to engage in a playful yet profound reflection on the past, present, and future. This garden presentation will be accompanied by his solo exhibition Eras[e] in the gallery in October.
