As part of People’s Forum, W139 is organising two Art Markets in the weekends of 25 & 26 November and 2 & 3 December, freely accessible. Forget Black Friday and discover gems by Amsterdam makers. More than thirty vendors will be selling unexpected treasures, self-published magazines, vinyl records, clothing, art works, homemade food, craft products, and much more.
The Art Markets are open from 12:00 – 18:00 both weekends.
People’s Forum, Farida Sedoc’s first solo exhibition, explores the conditions for art as livelihood and as a vehicle for change. The exhibition will bring together a program offering alternative forms of artistic production and autonomy, including an office-in-residence by Platform BK. People’s Forum is on view at W139 from 18 November to 17 December 2023. The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.
