Next Sunday from 13:00 to 14:00, a brunch will take place in the gallery. At 13:00, Ulrike Rehm will give a tour of her work. You also have the opportunity to take a look in her studio, which is located behind the gallery. Enjoy a croissant and orange juice while listening to this artist talk. Rehm was trained in a woodworker’s guild, and later studied at the Rietveld Academie. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006 and her Master’s degree at the Sandberg Instituut in 2011. Rehm’s greatest sources of inspiration are folkloric narratives, traditions, archetypal figures, and the inherent symbolism and associations connected to them. Curiosity and a spirit of experimentation drive Rehm’s artistic development and contribute to her versatile use of materials. Rehm’s work can be found in various museum, private, and corporate collections, including the Akzo Nobel Art Foundation (Amsterdam), Louis Vuitton (Asia), and the Museum Arnhem. It will also be presented at the upcoming PAN Amsterdam and Art Antwerp exhibitions by the GoMulan Gallery.
