About the exhibition 

De Brakke Grond presents .tiff 2022, an exhibition with emerging photography from Belgium, selected by FOMU – Photo Museum Antwerp. Every year, the museum selects ten promising artists, all living and working in Belgium. FOMU accompanies them on a development journey to create the portfolio magazine .tiff, culminating in a group exhibition. The styles, approaches and subject matters on view are diverse: the exhibition is like a mosaic of the different photographic practices currently at play in Belgium. .tiff 2022 shows a new, critical reflection on the medium of photography.

In 2022, .tiff turns ten years old. One hundred artists have contributed to its journey in the past decade. For many years, de Brakke Grond has worked together with FOMU to introduce the emerging talents to a Dutch audience in exhibitions and presentations.

Opening

On Friday 16 September, we will celebrate the opening of .tiff 2022 in the presence of the artists and curator Kaat Somers.
