Enari Gallery warmly invites you to the vernissage of Dimitris Tampakis’ solo exhibition FERAL NOM, on Friday, February 28, from 5 to 8 p.m.
In the exhibition, Tampakis explores the hybrid human experience in our numbed society, navigating discomfort and seeking existential awakening. His work reflects moments of tension and vulnerability, where profound change arises through chaos and uncertainty. Using materials such as aluminum, oxidized zinc, leather and rubber, Tampakis creates confrontational and challenging sculptures and installations. His most recent work explores the concept of the tribe as a response to alienation in our digital age, focusing on fading connections and cracks in routine. These cracks symbolize liberation and reveal possibilities for collective action.
