Atakan currently leads a creative agency called WAVES, which focuses on events, campaigns, and content creation.
When asked about the role of art in his life, Atakan shared, “Art has always been a part of my life in one form or another. I’m a fan of a broad range of artists, from established ones to emerging talents. I enjoy having art pieces at home that reflect my taste and can transform the ambiance of a space. I consider myself fortunate to own works by Tomás Sánchez, a Cuban painter renowned for his landscapes and serene scenery. While I appreciate art and craftsmanship in various forms, I have a particular interest in architecture, literature, vintage interiors, and music.”
As an avid collector, Atakan values not only excellent craftsmanship but also the narratives that objects and artworks convey. Among his collection, he proudly owns a substantial array of vintage Cartier items.
