Our Mission

The voices of an impressive assembly of established talent such as Daniel Arsham, Hans Op de Beeck, Isaac Julien, Remy Jungerman and Erwin Olaf tell poignant stories and shape the core of our public debate. The gallery’s mission is to platform artworks that embody the sophisticated relationship between artist, artwork, and society. Throughout the gallery’s program, light is shed on the unexpected and previously hidden aspects of everyday experience, taking shape in large scale, immersive installations as well as international group exhibitions.

Ron Mandos maintains a keen eye on art academies in search of young talent, offering a platform for their work in the annual Best of Graduates exhibition. In 2018, Ron Mandos established the Young Blood Foundation, a program that will foster the careers of graduates for years to come. Alongside these initiatives, the gallery has placed artworks in a variety of significant collections, including The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Museum Voorlinden, Wassenaar, and Centre Pompidou, Paris.

In the 20 years since its conception, Galerie Ron Mandos has situated itself as an avid participator in national and international art fairs. Beyond exhibition, the gallery creates regular publications including Beyond Matter by Levi van Veluw and April fool 2020 by Erwin Olaf. Together these initiatives represent an imperative re-examination of art and our human condition, the gallery’s long-standing and ongoing objective.

The Ron Mandos Young Blood Foundation

Since 2008, Galerie Ron Mandos has been supporting young artistic talent by organizing the annual Best of Graduates exhibition. Here, the gallery highlights the best of each year’s graduating students and presents them to a large international public, as well as granting different kinds of prizes. In order to ensure a continuation of the tradition, and to continue offering a platform of this calibre to young, emerging artists, Ron Mandos has founded the Ron Mandos Young Blood Foundation.
