The Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten is a breeding ground for international and multidisciplinary talent in the city and our core partner again this year. That is why Amsterdam Art Week 2024 will again jointly celebrate the opening of Amsterdam Art Week with the Rijksakademie Open Studios.

Programme for Professionals
During Amsterdam Art Week, we organise a Professionals Programme especially for (international) art professionals working in the cultural sector, such as artists, curators, museum directors. For (inter)national collectors, Amsterdam Art organises an exclusive programme during Amsterdam Art Week. Would you like to participate? Send an e-mail to vip@amsterdamart.com with your name and address and you will receive an invitation for the programme.
Participating institutions
Around 50 institutions active in the field of contemporary art will participate in Amsterdam Art Week 2024. Until 27 October 2023, institutions can submit an exhibition plan for Amsterdam Art Week. The selection committee will evaluate these applications on artistic quality. Mid November 2023, Amsterdam Art will announce the participants for the next edition.

Stichting Amsterdam Art promotes and connects Amsterdam contemporary art institutions and artists to strengthen the city’s artistic ecosystem and make it accessible to local and international audiences.
Since 2011, we have organised the annual Amsterdam Art Week, strengthening the city as a meeting hub for (inter)national artists, art lovers, professionals and collectors. Amsterdam Art Week encourages collaborations, special programming and special events among its members and activates their overarching network of visitors and art professionals to discover the Amsterdam art world anew every year.
