Save the date: announcement dates Amsterdam Art Week 2023

Amsterdam Art is pleased to announce the dates of the 11th edition of Amsterdam Art Week. From Tuesday 31 May to Sunday 4 June 2023, Amsterdam will be the stage for contemporary visual art. Together with galleries, museums, project spaces and residencies, we will present a multifaceted programme consisting of exhibitions, artist talks, debates, lectures, performances, film screenings and gallery tours. The Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten is the centre for international, multidisciplinary talent in the city and is again an important partner for the next edition of Amsterdam Art Week.

Public Programme
Amsterdam Art Week offers a vibrant Public Programme for art and culture lovers. This is the moment to discover the latest developments in the field of contemporary visual art. Whether you are looking for young artists or established names, you want to expand your collection or visit a gallery for the first time, Amsterdam Art Week is your compass in the contemporary art world. Programme for Professionals
During Amsterdam Art Week, we organise a Professionals Programme especially for (international) art professionals working in the cultural sector, such as artists, curators, museum directors. Would you like to participate the next edition? Then send an e-mail to professionals@amsterdamart.com mentioning your name, position and the name of your organisation. We will keep you informed about the programme.

We also offer the possibility of a tailor made Visitor Programme for (inter)national cultural groups. If you interested, please contact info@amsterdamart.com for more information.

Programme for collectors
For (inter)national collectors, Amsterdam Art organises an exclusive programme during Amsterdam Art Week. Would you like to participate? Send an e-mail to professionals@amsterdamart.com with your name and address and you will receive an invitation for the programme.

Participating institutions
Around 50 institutions active in the field of contemporary art will participate in Amsterdam Art Week 2023. Until 15 October 2022, institutions can submit an exhibition plan for Amsterdam Art Week. The selection committee will evaluate these applications on artistic quality. After 1 November, Amsterdam Art will announce the participants for the next edition.

Since its first edition in 2012, Amsterdam Art has been committed to strengthening the position of Amsterdam as an international centre for contemporary art. We encourage cooperation between various art institutions and promote the most cutting-edge artists and exhibitions in the capital city. Besides the annual Amsterdam Art Week, Amsterdam Art presents the programme of contemporary art institutions on this website throughout the year, we distribute the Amsterdam Art Guide and we publish a digital newsletter.
