On 2 and 3 September GalleryViewer and Amsterdam Art host the start of the gallery season. During this festive weekend the Amsterdam galleries open their doors to the public with the first exhibition of the season. This is the opportunity to discover new contemporary art and to get informed about the latest developments in the art field. For the Opening of the Gallery Season, GalleryViewer developed a free map with all participating Amsterdam galleries. This will be available on September 3 at the GalleryViewer Hotspot at Keizersgracht 241 in Amsterdam.
Times and locations
The opening hours of the galleries during the Opening of the Gallery Season are:
- Friday 2 September: from 17:00 – 21:00
- Saturday 3 September: 11:00 – 18:00
In the agenda of this website you can see which galleries participate and with which exhibition they open. This is indicated by the label ‘Opening Gallery Season’. The agenda with exhibitions will be completed in the coming week.
