By choosing the cold as theme of his contribution Petros Panagiotis Orfanos almost reacts in a complete “Cardenasian” way to the to the exhibition “Cardena Warming Up”. The by Panagiotis Orfanos selected video’s of Rachel Manson, L.A. Raeven and Juliana Snapper all have cold as starting point and they will be on view in the projects space at Rozenstraat – a rose is a rose is a rose between July 19-30th.

Rachel Manson is an artist musician and a film maker. Her work was part of exhibitions in museums like LACMA, Los Angeles; Detroit Museum of Art; Kunsthalle Zurich; Chicago Art Institute; New Museum, New York; Queens Museum, New York and the Sculpture Center, Hessel Museum of Art at Bard college, Annandale-On-Hudson.
Juliana Snapper is a contemporary opera singer, recitalist, live performance artist, experimental theater director and voice scholar. Her work was on view at institutions as PS1/MoMA, New York; the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; Redcat, and the Broad both in Los Angeles. As an opera singer she won the 1990 Blanche Thebom/Metropolitan Opera award for Outstanding Young Singer of the Year.
L.A. Raeven is an artist duo consisting of twins Liesbeth and Angelique Raeven. Their work was part of exhibitions in major institutions as GEM, The Hague; Kunstraum Lakeside, Klagenfurt, Mu.ZEE, Oostende, MMK Arnhem, Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrado; Forum d´Art Contemporain/Casino Luxemburg; FRAC Dunkirk; Museum Ludwig, Budapest and the Fries Museum, Leeuwarden.
