Loods 6 is pleased to invite you to the group exhibition We Can Talk About Something Else. The exhibition will be opened on Friday 9 May and will also be running during the Amsterdam Art Week 2025.
We talk every day—but how often do we have truly meaningful conversations? We Can Talk About Something Else explores the art of dialogue: between generations, between parents and children, between close friends and strangers. The exhibition delves into identity, parenthood, communication, and technology, focusing on how conversations take shape.
Every discussion is shaped by countless factors: relationships, emotions, identity, background, technology, and the world we live in. Even among like-minded people, a good conversation can be challenging. It may spark conflict, feel uncomfortable, or be deeply revealing—but it can also be filled with humor and love. The artists in this exhibition embrace vulnerability, showing that friction can bring people closer together.
We Can Talk About Something Else invites you to rediscover the joy of conversation—even when it’s difficult. How do we truly listen? How do we connect?
Step inside and join the dialogue!
