Amsterdam Art Week 2025 Open today from 10:00 to 17:00

As part of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, the Amsterdam Museum is presenting the multifaceted project Women of Amsterdam – an ode. With this initiative, the museum aims to enrich the city’s history by collecting letters, poems, videos, illustrations and audio messages dedicated to women who have made a significant impact on Amsterdam. By gathering these odes, the museum hopes to shed light on women who have often remained invisible in the city’s narratives. These tributes not only broaden Amsterdam’s story, but will also become part of the Amsterdam Museum’s collection.
