Emerging Belgian Photography
I.S.M. FOMU ANTWERPEN
In the autumn, .tiff 2025 will travel to the Brakke Grond. This photography exhibition will feature work by a new selection of promising artists, brought together by FOMU – the photography museum of Antwerp.
In .tiff 2025, ten Belgian artists and photographers show how photography can encompass different dimensions of care and make them tangible. Their work is rooted in personal stories that touch on universal questions: how can we preserve what is valuable, how can we protect what is vulnerable?
Selection .tiff 2025: Adel Setta, Alice Dooreman, Anna Safiatou Touré, Bo Floors, Camille Poitevin, Jaka Teršek, Mohamed Almamoun, Natalia Majchrzak, Tim Theo Deceuninck and Veronika Breuer.
Festive opening:
On Thursday October 16, 6 pm, we celebrate the opening of this exhibition with the artists. Sign up for free through this link. We hope yo see you there.
With .tiff, FOMU supports ten artists and photographers with a Belgian connection every year. .tiff casts a fresh look at the possibilities of photography and is a sampling of the diversity and dynamism of the photographic landscape in Belgium. It is a flexible track that responds to the needs of emerging artists. For them, in addition to a portfolio magazine and exhibition, the programme includes networking moments with international professionals and coaching sessions.
For the selection, FOMU works with an external jury. This year, it consists of Laure Cottin Stefanelli (artist and member of .tiff edition 2019), Koi Persyn (artistic director Jester Genk and curator Publiekpark) and Bindi Vora (curator Autograph London), assisted by the FOMU team.
.tiff is part of FUTURES, a collaboration between FOMU and a growing number of European partners (21).
