Part of the puntWG Open Call Series

Bright Measure is a duo exhibition by Maria Paris Borda and Radna Rumping. Brought together for this occasion, the artists explore the intersections of their practices through an exchange grounded in language, sound, and the fleeting nature of perception. Their shared sensitivity to the ephemeral: the flicker of light, a passing sound, a fleeting image, forms the basis of their collaboration.

The exhibition features their individual works alongside a new collaborative sound piece. On the ground floor, Maria presents I glimpsed a glimmer, a work responding to the vaulted ceiling of puntWG, in dialogue with a series of drawings titled Arch 1, 2, 3, 4. In the mezzanine, Radna presents her publication Shaky Ground (Stubborn Material) and the audio piece Moving, Repetition. Their joint sound piece inhabits the space, weaving together their voices and writings, reflecting on (in)finitude and the quiet revelations of everyday life.

Readings by Radna, accompanied by subtle shifts in Maria’s installation, will take place at 15.00 on Sunday 23 November, 30 November & 7 December.
