Low Jack presents Lacrimosa performed by the Ensemble vocal Voix des Outre-mer.
The Parisian composer Low Jack wrote a contemporary requiem in eight parts that follows the journey of a day, from sunrise to sunset. The Ensemble Voix des Outre-Mer, made up of opera singers from the French overseas territories, sing of loss, sorrow and transformation. Low Jack weaves classical vocal music together with contemporary influences, media narratives and a range of styles from the underground scene. The performance premiered earlier at the Bourse de Commerce in Paris.
