Bradwolff & Partners presents Shifting Realities, a solo exhibition by Jaehun Park which will also be running during the Amsterdam Art Week 2025. The exhibition will be opened on Friday 16 May.
In his work, the physical and digital realms, reality and simulation, seamlessly blend together. Park explores the impact of technology on our perception, creating a world where organic and virtual elements converge effortlessly.
The exhibition features new works, including Stone and Flower, a 3D simulation video that uses light and nature to explore the origins of life. Additionally, new 3D-printed sculptures are presented, where digital precision and organic forms are brought together.
Park’s work enters into a dialogue with the monumental paintings of two prominent Chinese avant-garde artists, Zhang Wei and Huang Rui. Zhang Wei, a pioneer of abstraction, captures emotion and movement through powerful brushstrokes. Huang Rui, co-founder of the Stars Group, examines the tension between colour and meaning. Both artists delve into the relationship between freedom and control, with their work creating a dynamic conversation with Park’s digital and physical approaches.
Shifting Realities explores how technology, light, and tradition transform our perception of the world.
