During Amsterdam Art Week 2025, four alumni of the Patta Academy – Boris Tönis, Frederique Pinas, Juanita Mendicuti Ortega, and Lenny Pharrel – take over the space at Naritaweg 12 with the exhibition THE ROOM IS OURS.
In this temporary, self-created world, the artists have complete freedom to shape the space as their own – from walls to floors, from atmosphere to artwork. THE ROOM IS OURS showcases existing works by emerging artists, each with their own background, vision, and artistic approach. Expect art that does not seek approval but simply exists – raw, pure, and unapologetic. This exhibition is not an endpoint but a snapshot of artists in motion.
