As part of the group exhibition “JOOST VANDEBRUG, ADAM JEPPESEN, INKA & NICLAS – Nature, perception, and materiality in contemporary lens-based art,” opening on Friday 5 September, there will be an artist talk on Saturday 6 September at 14:00, with the Swedish-Finnish duo Inka & Niclas.
The duo, collaborating since 2007, is known for their striking work at the intersection of photography, installation, and performance. Their practice explores how nature is represented, consumed, and idealized in contemporary culture – especially through photography and digital media. With a distinctive aesthetic that combines saturated colors, surreal landscapes, and staged interventions, they question the human desire to connect with nature and often reveal the artificiality hidden within our most romanticized images of nature.
