During Amsterdam Art Week 2025, Liquid Body by Pamela Rosenkranz will open at the Stedelijk Museum. From 21 May to 24 August 2025, the Stedelijk will present Liquid Body, the first solo exhibition in the Netherlands by Swiss artist Pamela Rosenkranz. Rosenkranz is known for her immersive installations that stimulate the senses and deeply explore the changing relationship between humanity, nature, and technology.
In her work, Rosenkranz investigates how both biochemical processes and societal influences shape our perception of the world. She combines synthetic and organic materials—such as polymers, LED lights, and industrial plastics—to create environments that shake up our view of reality. In her installations, the boundary between what is natural and what is man-made blurs. The artist explores how modern technology and evolution affect our thinking and emotions – from how we experience feelings to how we perceive ourselves and others.
