Annet Gelink Gallery is pleased to invite you on Thursday 3 July between 17:00 and 20:00 to the opening of The Eye of Amsterdam, in celebration of the gallery’s 25th anniversary and the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam.

With work by Ed van der Elsken, Bertien van Manen, Robby Müller, Johannes Schwartz, and guests Koos Breukel, Rineke Dijkstra, and Dana Lixenberg.

The Eye of Amsterdam is a photographic tribute to the city and its many lives. The exhibition brings together iconic images by some of the most celebrated Dutch photographers.

Through their lenses, Amsterdam stands out as a city of stories, images and memories – its streets, residents and fleeting moments captured in intimate and revealing ways. The Eye of Amsterdam invites viewers on a visual journey through the city’s past and present, seen and shaped by those who walk its streets and observe its soul.
