Andrea Davina is the Director of the Niemeijer Foundation and a committed advocate for greater equality in the art world. Driven by her personal experiences with gender inequality, she actively promotes a more level playing field—supporting, among other measures, the implementation of women’s quotas within the cultural sector.
She launched the Theodora Niemeijer Prize, the only visual arts award in the Netherlands exclusively dedicated to female artists.
