Kersgallery exhibits works by top artists. The works exhibited are often made by artists that have earned their stripes from a museum-like perspective. Annelien Kers also strives to offer opportunities to younger artists. She often pairs them with artists with a bigger name. This results in a source of inspiration for both parties.
There are two art movements that are exhibited by Kersgallery. Artists that show the theatrical and absurdity of daily life and that of the world stage like Raquel van Haver, Gé-Karel van der Sterren, Karel Sargsyan and David Bade.
On the other hand the gallery shows artists who wish to tell nature’s miraculousness through abstract-impressionistic gestures like Lotte Wieringa and Marc Mulders. Mette Sterre can be found in the middle of these two worlds.
