No Man’s Art Gallery started as a travelling pop-up gallery with the mission of providing early-career artists access to international art markets, helping to alleviate any circumstances that might limit their professional trajectory in their home country.
Pop-up galleries have been held in Cape Town, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Mumbai, Paris, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Shanghai, Tehran, and Mexico City.
In 2018, NMAG opened a permanent gallery space in Bos & Lommer, Amsterdam, and in 2021, NMAG launched its second location in Amsterdam: No Man’s Art Gallery KIOSK, an independent space with a project-based programme. With NMAG Amsterdam as a solid foundation, the gallery will continue to organise pop-up galleries worldwide.
