No Man’s Art Gallery started as traveling pop-up gallery with the mission to enable access to foreign art markets to artists early in their career so that any circumstances that limit their professional trajectory at home might be mitigated.
Pop-up galleries opened in Cape Town, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Mumbai, Paris, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Shanghai, Tehran and Mexico City.
In 2018 NMAG opened a permanent gallery space in Bos & Lommer, Amsterdam and in 2021 NMAG opened its second location in Amsterdam: No Man’s Art Gallery KIOSK, an independent space with a project-based program. With NMAG Amsterdam as its solid base, the gallery will continue to organise pop-up galleries worldwide.
No Man’s Art Gallery is part of the Kunstkoopregeling.
