Stigter van Doesburg shows a varied programme of contempo- rary art. They embrace all media – from painting to performance – and have a strong representation of female artists. Although women are on the rise in museums, there is still a long way to go. Since its foundation in 2001, the gallery has focused on young individuals and their place in the current discourse. Being in business for over twenty years, the programme ranges from mid-career – as they strive for long-term relationships – to new generations of artists and their love for experimentation.
