tegenboschvanvreden is a contemporary art gallery representing a group of 18 international artists. The gallery has no fixed formula; it is a distinctly dynamic platform that constantly requires the revision of conceptual starting points. Since the opening of the gallery in 2009, tegenboschvanvre- den have been striving to realise specific projects and collabora- tions. The gallery functions, ideally, as a ‘laboratory for new ideas’. The programme consists of exhibitions with young and more established international artists working in various media, most of whom have a research–based practice, and a fringe programme of lectures, screenings, performances and book launches.
