The Social Hub began in 2012 with a simple belief that students deserved better. Originally founded as The Student Hotel, it was created as a place where young people could find their purpose, connect with others, and contribute to shaping the future. As the community grew, the concept evolved into a hybrid space combining hospitality, co-living, coworking, and creative environments for entrepreneurs, travellers, and local communities.
In response to the growing need for meaningful connection and positive social change, The Student Hotel became The Social Hub, reflecting the evolution of both the organization and its diverse community. The Social Hub brings together people from different backgrounds who share a vision for a more connected and positive future.
The Social Hub is a certified B Corp and places social impact and sustainability at the centre of its operations. Through initiatives such as contributions to the TSH Talent Foundation and community-focused projects, the organization aims to encourage positive change.
Today, The Social Hub operates as more than a hotel or residential space. Its hybrid hospitality model brings together places to stay, live, work, learn, and play, creating flexible and inclusive environments where diverse communities can connect and collaborate.
