    The VU ART SCIENCE gallery connects art, science, and the public. As a broad-based university, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam fosters the exchange of multidisciplinary knowledge to contribute to solutions for contemporary challenges. The gallery is located at De Boelelaan 1111, Amsterdam, and is open Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 to 18:00. Visitors can enjoy a free guided tour led by students.

    De Boelelaan 1111 is also home to the Rialto cinema, the Griffioen theatre, and the cultural café Bar Boele.

    FOREIGN LAND | Susanne Khalil Yusef, Benjamin Li, Anthony Ngoya & Abul Hisham

    The exhibition Foreign Land explores the complex subject of migration through the eyes of artists with personal migration histories. In a time of conflicts, wars, and a perceived loss of connection, Foreign Land seeks to foster empathy, openness, and solidarity. On Saturday, 18 January 2025, the gallery will have extended opening hours, with guided tours offered throughout the day by our enthusiastic hosts.
