In everything he does, Noukhey Forster is committed to creating space for underexposed stories and perspectives within fashion, art and culture. As founder of OHIM, a multidisciplinary fashion platform, he develops projects that illuminate new narratives. With OHIM, he creates both his own visual work and space for like-minded makers, contributing to a more inclusive and layered art and fashion world. For instance, he recently realised the exhibition Shifting The Narrative at OSCAM, which explored and presented the position of black men in the fashion industry.
Besides his work with OHIM, Noukhey is active as a curator and programme maker for various cultural institutions. Previously, he was involved with OSCAM for seven years, where he collaborated on the realisation and development of the museum from its inception. He has also been contributing to the revamped Kwaku Summerfestival for 12 years, where he is committed to cultural programming and strengthening the connection between art and culture.
As an ambassador of the Stedelijk Museum, Noukhey is committed to enhancing the multifaceted and experimental character of Young Stedelijk to inspire a new generation of art lovers and creators.
