Lucia Pietroiusti is curator, programmeur en strateeg, werkzaam op het snijvlak van kunst, ecologie en systemen. Als hoofd Ecologieën bij Serpentine, Londen, richtte Pietroiusti in 2018 General Ecology op en in 2023 de afdeling Ecologieën, om ecologisch onderzoek en experimenten in het denken, de infrastructuur en de praktijka te bevorderen.
Pietroiusti is curator van Sun & Sea (Gouden Leeuw op de 58e Biënnale van Venetië en tournee). Samen met Filipa Ramos is ze curator van Songs for the Changing Seasons (Vienna Klima Biennale, 2024) en Persones Persons (8e Biënnale Gherdeïna, 2022). Pietroiusti is curator van Sites of… Practice (E-WERK Luckenwalde, sinds 2024), Back to Earth (Serpentine, 2020-22) en Court for Intergenerational Climate Crimes: The British East India Company on Trial door Radha D’Souza en Jonas Staal (2025). Recente publicaties zijn More-than-Human (met Andrés Jaque en Marina Otero Verzier) en The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fish (met Filipa Ramos).
